Day 297 365 Photos Theme #346 Urban

23 10 2009

Urban Theater District, originally uploaded by needlepointernc.

This URBAN scene is of the Boston Theater District. It is a busy place and is next to Chinatown. The first live play I saw was “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” in the Wilbur Theater (the 1st theater on the left of the picture). I still love to go to the theater. I am waiting for the tickets to Wicked to go on sale at the DPAC!

I treated myself to two days in Boston last week. Karen and I spent one day taking the Boston Town Trolley Tour. We had a blast. We had this great view from the 31st floor of the Copley Square Marriott. Cool view, huh! I took this through the window with my long lens at twilight.

I took this picture with my short lens camera during the day.

You can see the Charles River and the bridge to Cambridge. They call it the Salt and Pepper Bridge.

Really like the top photo. Nice picture, treatment-very urban. Bet you had a lot of fun running around!

The top shot is the Archetypical Street scene, the others are nice and tell their own tale but you picked Tops for Tops.
