Fresh Market had a table of BARGAINS by the checkout line. You wonder why they stock some of these things to begin with! Too bad the meat was 1/2 off πŸ™‚ today.

The Washington Monument is an example of our NATIONAL PRIDE. I took this picture from the car on the 395 Beltline that goes around Washington, DC.

I croppe the image and adjusted the color and levels. I used mat and frame actions that I bought from They have some cool actions for Photoshop Elements.

AntiqueCar-0854, originally uploaded by needlepointernc.

This CLASSIC car was being towed on a trailer on I-95. Maybe they were going to a car show? It is a Chevy SS muscle car.

Used Lightroom Antique preset and Orange Only Preset to highlight the car.

Day 231 365 Photos Theme #343 Unfinished

20 08 2009

Design Wall – My UFOs, originally uploaded by needlepointernc.

My Design Wall is cluttered with many of my UNFINISHED projects. Quilters call them UFOs. I have lots more in my closet. Some have been taken to Cathy Kirk to be quilted. My goal is to get all of my projects finished before I start anymore πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ – well I can try at least.

The pieces on top are from a pattern I bought from a quilt store in Northampton. The brightly colored piece is almost done. I just need to add some more quilting. The large piece is my interpretation of “The Tree of Life” by Klimt. I took an online class at Quilt University and haven’t finished it yet. It is done by fusing fabric onto the background.
