Day 96 365 Photos Theme #4 A Pair of…..

6 04 2009

A Pair of Logs, originally uploaded by needlepointernc.

My DH kept A PAIR OF… of these logs so he can make a bench for the garden. There is a place in Raleigh that gives away odd slabs of trees that you can use to make benches. The frame chopped off the picture a little.

You’ll have to show us the stumps once they’ve been converted to seats!

Neat way to present photo. The bench made from the stumps will be really nice in your garden.

Took me a minute to figure out what was going on here! Unique is rather a poor and often overused word for what you’ve done here. How about “Incomparable” or “Extraordinary” ?? Think that would work?

What is that red plant? I have several photos taken along a river up north that has red plants growing along the banks. I showed it to someone once, and they doubted that a plant like that existed. Think I’ll post it for “Steve’s Oldies” tomorrow if you’d care to pay a visit to my site and take a look at it.

It is a Red Twig Dogwood. It has red bark. No flowers yet… but we transplanted it from a friends yard so it may not flower this year. Some Dogwoods flower later. We have one in front that will flower after the ones flowering now. If it doesn’t rain today, I will try and post some pics of the front yard. I will look at your blog.
