The trees are BARREN. I was pumping gas and like the contrast of the naked trees against the clouds and the blue sky. Here is the original photo:

I like the desaturated image a lot! I almost took the same photo a few days ago. Lots of starlings in one tree down in Putnam. I’ll have to get it of the card and into Lightroom…
