This is a picture of Motif Number 1, which is in Rockport Massachusetts on Bradley Wharf in Bearskin Neck. It was a fishing shack that became the most painted and most photographed shack in Rockport.
I took this photo sometime in the 1970s. I used an Adobe Lightroom preset to isolate just the red color of the shack.

Love the movement of the water and the boats/yachts reflection. Also like your selective color. Nice that it is picked up in several places throughout the photo where you might not expect it. Of course, the red boathouse is a standout!
Your use of selective colors is so effective in this shot, especially with the framing. It’s the reds that stand out to the eye on an overcast day at the shore, while the texture and motion is all in the grey. You’ve condensed that to give us the rhythm of the harbor.
